Transforming a Static Media Kit into a Scalable Sponsorship System

Designing a modular, multi-tier system to help a national trade organization clearly communicate value, increase usability, and support long-term growth.

Overview

NFRA needed a sponsorship toolkit that could support a growing and increasingly complex partner ecosystem. Their existing materials were static, fragmented, and difficult to navigate – limiting both usability and perceived value.

I led the transformation of this system into an interactive, scalable media kit designed to support both immediate sales needs and long-term flexibility.

My Role

Creative Direction, Information Architecture, System Design, Interactive Layout

  • Led structure and hierarchy across multi-tier sponsorship offerings

  • Translated complex business needs into a clear, usable system

  • Designed for both digital interactivity and print adaptability

  • Collaborated with stakeholders to align content and priorities

The Challenge

  • Multiple audience types (brands, retailers, sponsors)

  • Tiered offerings with inconsistent structure

  • Content that needed to evolve frequently

  • Lack of clear hierarchy and navigation

  • Need for both digital + print usability

approach

I approached the project as a system, not a document.

Rather than designing static pages, I created a modular framework that could scale, adapt, and remain intuitive across formats.

Key Decisions

1. Simplified Tier Architecture
Clarified sponsorship levels to reduce cognitive load and improve decision-making.

2. Modular Page System
Built repeatable layouts to allow for flexibility and future expansion without redesign.

3. Interactive Navigation
Introduced a clear, clickable structure to help users quickly explore offerings.

4. Editorial Clarity Meets Sales Function
Balanced storytelling with direct, scannable information to support both engagement and conversion.

5. Designed for Real Use
Ensured the system worked across:

  • interactive PDFs

  • internal updates

  • print outputs

Outcome

This project reflects my approach to creative direction: building systems that bring clarity to complexity and support both storytelling and business performance.
